The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougall scores with a one two! Kolk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kolk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDougall but McDougall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McDougall slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Kolk moves to clinch but McDougall breaks away

and McDougall counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kolk down! McDougall is looking to finish but Kolk is intelligently defending himself.

McDougall throws a big right hand that misses.

McDougall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
