Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Molotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Lianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Lianenko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Andrei Molotov's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Lianenko!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Molotov.
Molotov tries to land a front kick but Lianenko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Molotov lands with a slapping head kick.
Lianenko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Molotov.
Molotov throws a left and a right that both miss

and Lianenko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Molotov's guard now.
Lianenko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lianenko trying to control but Molotov is working from the bottom.
Molotov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Molotov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Molotov wants to stand up but Lianenko is controlling him.

Lianenko lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Molotov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lianenko prevents Molotov from getting back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lianenko might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Molotov kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Molotov is looking to stand up but Lianenko isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Molotov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lianenko is lucky that one didn't land flush.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrei Molotov will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lianenko sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Molotov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Lianenko tries to score with some ground and pound. Molotov controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Molotov is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Lianenko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lianenko. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Lianenko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Lianenko is trying to ground and pound but Molotov uses the momentary lack of control by Lianenko to regain half guard.

Fedor Lianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Andrei Molotov.
I think Molotov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
