Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torsti Turjake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by Slaap lekker!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turjake misses with a hook.
Gomi lands with a good body shot.

Donk. Turjake catches Gomi right on the button with a cross.
Gomi tries to clinch there but Turjake circles away.

Gomi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turjake sees it coming and defends easily.

Turjake is looking to stand up but Gomi isn't so interested in that idea.

Turjake pushes Gomi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Gomi is trying to maintain a safe position but Turjake gets an underhook and turns Gomi into the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gomi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Turjake wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Gomi is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Turjake on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gomi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Turjake momentarily.
Turjake tries to bum rush Gomi with a series of wild strikes but Gomi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gomi is looking to wear down Turjake with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gomi.
Gomi cracks Turjake with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gomi misses with an uppercut
and Turjake makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gomi takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gomi throws a poor cross that misses
and Turjake counters with a stiff right hand.
Turjake throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gomi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turjake manages to avoid it.
Torsti Turjake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turjake loads up on a big right hand but Gomi slips the punch.
Gomi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Turjake's sensitive parts.
Turjake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Turjake missing with a left hand there. Gomi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gomi ducks under a wild hook from Turjake.
Turjake steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gomi.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gomi misses with a takedown attempt
and Turjake counters with a nice uppercut.
Gomi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gomi lands a nice shot that snaps Turjake's head back.
Gomi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Turjake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Turjake throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Gomi colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Turjake as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Gomi is left battered and dazed whilst Turjake and his camp cheer!
