Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabe Holter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Tucker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Holter sprawls well. Holter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tucker gets slowly back to his feet.
Tucker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Holter counters with a straight right hand.
Tucker lands a nice shot that snaps Holter's head back.
Tom Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Holter wants it to stay on the feet.
A big right from Tucker misses.
Tucker loads up on a big right hand but Holter slips the punch.
Holter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Holter counters by moving into the clinch.
Tucker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gabe Holter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Tucker.

Tucker has clasped his hands together around Holter's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tucker throws an elbow but Holter slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tucker advances to full mount.
Holter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tucker on the ground.

Tucker is working for a guillotine from mount but Holter frees his head quite easily.

Tucker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Holter has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Holter avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tucker.

Tucker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Holter is surviving well by controlling Tucker's body position as best he can.
Tucker breaks from Holter's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holter is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Tucker throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

It looks like Gabe Holter has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tucker unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Holter wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Tucker celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
