Salazar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Runnin' With The Devil. Bamboni has chosen Ice Ice Baby as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar tries for a takedown but Bamboni circles away easily

and Bamboni counters by moving into the clinch.

Bamboni decides to pull guard.
Salazar's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bamboni wants to sweep here but Salazar controlling him for the moment.
Salazar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We're going to have a standup here because Armando Salazar wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bamboni slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Salazar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salazar showed some decent athleticism there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bamboni can do anything to dispel that myth.

Salazar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Salazar in particular looking to stall.

Tony Bamboni showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Salazar leaves Bamboni with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well Bamboni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
