The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernieson throws a looping overhand right but McRedd ducks down to avoid it.
Bert Ernieson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and McRedd counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McRedd fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ernieson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

McRedd closes the distance looking for a takedown. Ernieson stuffs it but McRedd still has hold of him. McRedd picks Ernieson up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. McRedd slams Ernieson to the floor and that's really hurt Ernieson - he doesn't know where he is! McRedd throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
