The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gintoki tries a head kick but it misses.
Gintoki misses with a head kick.
Aoki closes the distance and clinches up with Gintoki, looking for a takedown. Aoki pushes Gintoki against the cage but Gintoki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aoki is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gintoki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Aoki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
