Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jon Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Klein!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Klein shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Klein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jones looks to clinch

and Klein counters by moving into the clinch.
Jones wants a takedown.

Klein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Klein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Klein off to one side.
Klein takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Klein moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Kevin Klein has been cut.

and Jones counters with a crisp one two that drops Klein! Jones thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Klein to his feet! Klein is in big trouble!

Klein is rocked!
Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Klein.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jones forces Klein back against the cage and clinches.
Klein manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Klein gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage.

Klein gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jones regains guard.
Klein stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
Klein must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Klein!

Klein can't escape the position.
Klein tries to improve his position but instead Jones has taken his back!
Jones lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Klein.
Klein looks gassed!
Jones lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Jones is persistently looking for the submission but Klein is defending it well.

Jones goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Klein escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Klein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Klein's back!
Jones lands a shot to the body.

Jones is punishing Klein with some ground and pound.

Jones is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Jones gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jones gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jones apologises and we restart here on the feet.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.

Oooooh!!! Jones has knocked Klein down with a huge combo! Jones steps away and waves a wobbly Klein back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Klein is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?

Jones connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Klein! He's out on his feet! Jones rushes in and drops Klein with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
