Copeland comes to the cage accompanied by think you know me . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocko Valentino!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Valentino.
Valentino throws a right and a left that both miss.
Valentino throws a sloppy body shot
and Valentino takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like Rocko Valentino has been cut.

Valentino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Copeland has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Valentino holds on and takes a little breather.
Valentino looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Copeland puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Valentino has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Copeland is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Adam Copeland has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Valentino is keen to just control but Copeland is a slippery customer.

Valentino is looking for a kimura but Copeland is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Valentino to get the leverage.

Copeland is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Valentino pulls his head out easily.
Copeland on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Copeland tries to get out of the position.
Copeland tries to roll over but Valentino keeps him under control.

Valentino is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Copeland!
Copeland is desperately trying to improve his position but Valentino has a good base and remains in mount.
Copeland wants to control but Valentino is having none of it.
Copeland is trying to escape the mount.
Copeland is breathing heavily.
Copeland is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Copeland is desperately trying to improve his position but Valentino has a good base and remains in mount.
Copeland throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Valentino lands a heavy elbow.
Valentino tries to control but Copeland wriggling away.
Valentino lands a nice shot to the head.
Valentino breaks from Copeland's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Valentino lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Copeland wants to control but Valentino is having none of it.
Valentino scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rocko Valentino will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Rocko Valentino's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Copeland throws a left and a right that both miss
and Valentino counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Copeland off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Valentino follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Copeland was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rocko Valentino!
