Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Artem Blinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuriy Prokopenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blinov comes into the arena with Russian anthem blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokopenko avoids a kick to the body.
Prokopenko dodges the punch combination from Blinov.
Prokopenko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blinov.
Blinov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Prokopenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blinov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blinov wants to get back to his feet but Prokopenko drags him back down.
Blinov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prokopenko on the ground.
Prokopenko tries to move to mount but Blinov blocks the move with his legs.
Blinov wants to get back to his feet but Prokopenko is dominant here and he's now got Blinov's back!
Prokopenko is working for a rear naked choke. Blinov is not defending it well and Prokopenko has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Blinov refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Blinov's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
