Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dixon comes to the cage accompanied by The Clash - I Fought The Law. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Bravo!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo moves into the clinch.

Dixon manages to break the clinch.
Bravo misses with a kick to the body

and Dixon counters by clinching up.
Bravo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dixon's efforts to push away.
Bravo tries for a takedown. No joy.

and Dixon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bravo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bravo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dixon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Dixon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bravo avoids the head kick by Dixon.
Dixon throws a jab when Bravo was well out of range.
Bravo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dixon shoots in looking for a takedown but Bravo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dixon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Peter Dixon has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dixon.
Peter Dixon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dixon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bravo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bravo trying to control the action but Dixon is working from the bottom.
Bravo fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dixon is pushing Bravo's head away, looking to escape. Bravo manages to hold on to the position though.
Dixon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bravo connects with a decent elbow.
Peter Dixon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bravo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dixon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bravo is putting a hurting on Dixon here, landing some big shots from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo tries to move to mount but Dixon blocks the move with his legs.

Bravo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dixon, who protects the arm well.
Dixon striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Dixon throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Check out the look on Bravo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Bravo lands a strong strike to the head of Dixon. That's dazed him! Bravo looking to finish here. Dixon is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Bravo lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
