Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jong Il Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Tuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim's entrance music is I'm So Ronery. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pat Tuo!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tuo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tuo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kim turns into him and now he's in Tuo's guard.
Tuo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kim has passed into side control.

Tuo is looking to regain half guard here but Kim keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tuo gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Kim jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tuo manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kim moves into full mount!
Tuo is desperately trying to improve his position but Kim has a good base and remains in mount.
Kim controlling the pace for now.
Kim has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuo is squirming around, avoiding Kim's attempts to control the action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jong Il Kim.
Tuo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kim counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kim scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Pat Tuo has been cut.
Tuo looks gassed!
Kim smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A punch lands to the side of Tuo 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tuo is rocked!
Kim lands a brutal uppercut that launches Tuo off his feet! Tuo tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
