Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kshymensky has chosen no mercy T.I as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shane Hancock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Kshymensky!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kshymensky shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hancock looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hancock keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Kshymensky wants to take a breather but Hancock is having none of it.
Kshymensky not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kshymensky is trying to control the action in half guard but Hancock is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kshymensky wants to stand up but Hancock has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Hancock will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kshymensky with a poor takedown

so Hancock counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kshymensky is looking to stand up but Hancock isn't so interested in that idea.
Hancock tries to free his leg and advance position but Kshymensky is retaining full guard.

Kshymensky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kshymensky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hancock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Shane Hancock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hancock is persistently looking for the submission but Kshymensky is defending it well.

Hancock has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kshymensky has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Hancock is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kshymensky has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Hancock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kshymensky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shane Hancock.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hancock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
