Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Kango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Griswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kango comes into the arena with Everyone Nose blaring out of the sound system. Griswald has chosen If You Want Blood (You Got It) as his entrance music. Johnny Griswald told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kango moves out of range of the strikes.
Griswald tries to bum rush Kango with a series of wild strikes but Kango uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Griswald keeps the fight on the outside.
Kango tries to close the distance and clinch but Griswald swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kango tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griswald swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Griswald scores with a punch to the head.
Kango pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griswald avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kango clinches up against the ropes.
Kango has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Griswald avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Griswald tries to break the clinch but Kango is controlling the position.
Kango wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Griswald has him pressed against the ropes.

Griswald is pressed up against the ropes. Kango has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Griswald down to the mat. Griswald avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kango looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Griswald connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Kango shoots in for a takedown but Griswald shows good takedown defense.
Kango seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhammad Kango. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kango tries to clinch up but Griswald circles away and keeps his distance.
Kango shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griswald pinned against the cage. Griswald gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kango is breathing heavily.
Griswald misses with a straight right.

Kango fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Griswald, pushing him back against the ropes.

Griswald breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Griswald closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kango! Griswald dives in looking to finish! Kango is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
