Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micky Elder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yotu Lerfif (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Elder might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Enter Sandman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lerfif throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Elder.
Elder throws a nice looking combination but Lerfif bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lerfif.
Lerfif is looking to clinch.
Micky Elder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elder throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lerfif counters with a body kick.
Lerfif throws a head kick that Elder semi-blocks.
Elder jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Yotu Lerfif has been cut.
Elder fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Elder has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lerfif's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Elder might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Elder regains half guard.
Lerfif prevents Elder from standing back up.
Elder wants to improve his position but Lerfif is controlling well.
Elder is controlling Lerfif's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Elder wants to get back to his feet.
Elder misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Elder thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Elder is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Elder misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circling - Elder throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lerfif misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Micky Elder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yotu Lerfif.
Lerfif throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lerfif lands with a kick to the temple. Elder shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Micky Elder has been cut.
Elder walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lerfif.
Lerfif throws a head kick that Elder semi-blocks.
Lerfif fakes the leg kick and cracks Elder in the body.
Elder throws a combination that misses

and Lerfif counters with a single leg into guard. Elder didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Elder kicks Lerfif off and gets to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Elder.

Elder decides to stand back up. Elder steps back and let's Lerfif get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Elder shoots and misses
and Lerfif counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lerfif fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Yotu Lerfif will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Elder throws a head kick that misses
and Lerfif counters with a left and a right that stings Elder.
Elder is looking to chop away at Lerfif's legs.

Lerfif shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Elder's guard.
Elder on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elder tries to get out of the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lerfif's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
