The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Riley's head back.

It looks like Duke Riley has been cut.
Riley checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Riley scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Riley's hands.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Riley throws a sloppy head kick
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Riley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Riley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a leg kick which misses Riley's front leg but catches the back leg as Riley tries to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Riley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Duke Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jones scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Riley ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Riley throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Duke Riley's cut even more.

and Jones counters with a huge left! Riley is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jones isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Riley from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jones!
