The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pandora manages to avoid it.

Calzaghe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pandora's waist but Pandora gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Calzaghe off to one side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Calzaghe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pandora did well to prevent Calzaghe getting side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Calzaghe will probably get the nod.

Calzaghe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pandora is now in Calzaghe's guard. A big mistake from Calzaghe there, giving up the dominant position!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Calzaghe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pandora is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Calzaghe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joe Calzaghe.
