The Boss has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buddha Boss scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Buddha Boss is trying to control. The Boss wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The Boss slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The Boss keeping full guard, as Buddha Boss tries to pass.
Buddha Boss wants to control from the top but The Boss keeps moving.
Buddha Boss wants to get up but he can't break The Boss's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Buddha Boss has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Buddha Boss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Buddha Boss is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and The Boss reverses the position - he's now on top in Buddha Boss's guard.
The Boss is in close to Buddha Boss's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The Boss wants to control from the top but Buddha Boss keeps moving.
The Boss pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Buddha Boss is keeping the position for now.
Buddha Boss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The Boss slips nicely into half guard.
The Boss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Buddha Boss wants to control but The Boss is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The Boss looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Buddha Boss with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The Boss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The Boss is nestled in close to Buddha Boss, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The Boss is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Buddha Boss has managed to free his arm - good work.
The Boss is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The Boss moves nicely into side control.
Buddha Boss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Boss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The Boss is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Buddha Boss is trying to escape and The Boss transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Buddha Boss is forced to tap! Nice work there by The Boss! Very nice indeed!
