The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries for a takedown but Beauford circles away easily
and Beauford counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Beauford.
Beauford drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nogueira manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Beauford has Nogueira in his guard.
Beauford escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nogueira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nogueira could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nogueira is squirming around, avoiding Beauford's attempts to control the action.
Beauford jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nogueira manages to avoid the submission attempt.
