The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ledesma has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Doherty throws a lazy right hand but Ledesma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ledesma checks a leg kick.
A big right from Ledesma misses.

Doherty does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Doherty misses with a body punch
and Ledesma counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ledesma lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Doherty backwards.

Ledesma creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Doherty's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Doherty drops to his knees and Ledesma pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
