Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Kidder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by It's a Fight. Kidder has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Markus Aurelio!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidder uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aurelio.
Aurelio tries to close the distance and clinch but Kidder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kidder gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kidder breaks the clinch.

Kidder fails with an attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aurelio.
Kidder tries a head kick but it misses.
Kidder stuffs the takedown attempt from Aurelio. Aurelio gets slowly back to his feet.

Kidder has closed the distance and engaged Aurelio in a clinch.
Aurelio is working for takedown but Kidder is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tim Kidder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Aurelio.
Aurelio has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kidder avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Aurelio tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kidder smiles and moves away.

Aurelio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aurelio looks gassed!

Aurelio thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Aurelio is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kidder has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kidder is pushing Aurelio's head away, looking to escape. Aurelio manages to hold on to the position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Aurelio has an Americana. Kidder didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Aurelio is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Aurelio hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
