The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chapman II fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Apollyon sprawls well initially but Chapman II persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chapman II performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Chapman II looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Apollyon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Still in half guard, Chapman II seems content to control.
Apollyon has hold of Chapman II's hands but Chapman II slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Chapman II in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Apollyon tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Chapman II!
