Koslovski shoots and misses
and Lakay counters with a good low kick that Koslovski was not able to check.
Koslovski ducks right into an uppercut from Lakay.
Koslovski keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Koslovski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lakay counters with a three punch combo that has Koslovski backing up. Koslovski nods at Lakay to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lakay bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lakay throws a right and a left that both miss.
Koslovski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lakay throws a leg kick
and Koslovski moves into the clinch.
Lakay prevents the takedown attempt.
Marc Jay Lakay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Koslovski.
Koslovski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Koslovski tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Koslovski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Koslovski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lakay.
Koslovski looks gassed!

Koslovski on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lakay tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Koslovski is able to avoid easily.
Lakay lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Vladimir Koslovski has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lakay stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Koslovski takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lakay connects with a right hand. Koslovski shakes it off.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lakay darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lakay cracks Koslovski with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Koslovski tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lakay pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Koslovski is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Jay Lakay!
