The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Armitage.
Armitage shoots for a takedown but S saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Armitage tries to clinch
letting S counter with a right hand.
Armitage tries to score a power double leg takedown but S sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Armitage somewhat.
S blocks a head kick by Armitage.

Armitage closes the distance and clinches.
Armitage misses with a knee strike.
Armitage with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Armitage has clasped his hands together around S's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
