The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziyad throws a leg kick which misses Friedhelm's front leg but catches the back leg as Friedhelm tries to avoid it.
Ziyad gets tackled into the cage by Friedhelm. Friedhelm maintains the clinch.
Friedhelm has hold of one of Ziyad's legs. Ziyad is fighting the takedown attempt but Friedhelm gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Friedhelm working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ziyad's head.
Ziyad is looking for a triangle but Friedhelm pushes his legs off easily.
Friedhelm trying to control but Ziyad is working from the bottom.
Friedhelm drops back looking for a leg! Ziyad is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ziyad manages to kick Friedhelm off! Friedhelm jumps back into Ziyad's guard.
Ziyad looking for a triangle here. Friedhelm is fighting it but it looks tight! Ziyad pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Friedhelm is tapping out - this one is all over!
