The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannigan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arlovski.
Shannigan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Shannigan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Narcaleptic Arlovski has been cut.
Arlovski throws a hook to the side of Shannigan's head but Shannigan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shannigan has closed the distance and engaged Arlovski in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Shannigan.
Shannigan tries to work over Arlovski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Arlovski misses with a body punch.
Shannigan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Shannigan scores with a shot to the side of Arlovski's head.
