Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Weathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carl Weathers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Howard Duck!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weathers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Weathers lands a body shot.
Duck misses with a straight left.

and Duck finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Weathers takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Duck moves out of range as Weathers strikes.
Duck throws a lazy right hand but Weathers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Weathers tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Duck is able to avoid easily.

That kick from Duck tenderised Weathers's leg. Weathers is trying to keep his angry face on.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Weathers avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Duck.
Duck advances nicely into full mount.
Weathers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weathers tries to get out of the position.

Weathers finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Duck's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Weathers falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
