Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnel Francia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kavon Lovve!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovve looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Francia is fending him off so far but Lovve persists. Nope, Francia circles away and we're back to standing.
Lovve looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Francia wants to clinch up but Lovve keeps it at a distance.
Kavon Lovve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Francia pushes Lovve up against the cage in a clinch.
Lovve jumps guard but Francia stands there with Lovve around his waist. Lovve gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Francia creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Francia.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Francia lands a right hand.
Lovve tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Arnel Francia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kavon Lovve.
Still in the clinch, Francia scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Francia prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lovve tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Francia misses with some punches.
Francia lands a right hand.
Francia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
It looks like Kavon Lovve has been cut.
Francia creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lovve with a big uppercut! Lovve tries to clinch up but Francia pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lovve to the mat! Lovve covers up and Francia unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
