Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leif Stenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman/Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Leif Stenberg has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenberg moves away from the strike by Ryan.
Ryan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ryan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stenberg lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Stenberg wants to slow Ryan down by chopping away at his legs.
Stenberg pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ryan back to the cage. Stenberg follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Leif Stenberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stenberg scores with a one two! Ryan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Stenberg goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stenberg's waist but Stenberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side.

Ryan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stenberg swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ryan is looking to work some ground and pound but Stenberg has wrist control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ryan lands a nice short elbow.

That was a close round but I would say that Leif Stenberg will probably get the nod.

Ryan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ryan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stenberg keeps working.
