Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kincaid drops his hands momentarily and Carson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kincaid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kincaid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kincaid misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kincaid tries to close the distance and clinch but Carson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Carson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Carson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kincaid with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carson to score with a decent uppercut.

Carson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kincaid. That did some damage!

Carson connects with a leg kick. Kincaid looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kincaid is trying desperately to land a takedown but Carson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kincaid.

Carson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Carson is looking for a kimura but Kincaid is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carson to get the leverage.

Kincaid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aidan Kincaid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kincaid circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Carson. Those never looked like landing.
Carson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Carson feints and then cracks Kincaid's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kincaid down.
Horrible takedown by Carson or perhaps it was just good defense by Kincaid which made him look bad.

Kincaid throws a series of punches but Carson avoids them all with ease.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Kincaid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Carson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kincaid.

Kincaid shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carson sprawls well. Carson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kincaid gets slowly back to his feet.
Carson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kincaid looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Carson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
