PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Vendetta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamza Nabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vendetta comes to the cage accompanied by Let it roll. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nabi's choice of entrance music: pakistani national anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendetta lands a head kick!

It looks like Hamza Nabi has been cut.

Vendetta shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Vendetta stands up from half guard.

Vendetta gets caught napping as Nabi dives in and scores a takedown. Vendetta manages to retain guard.

Vendetta has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nabi off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Vendetta scores with a head kick. Nabi tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nabi gets a double leg takedown into Vendetta's guard.
Nabi wants to get up but he can't break Vendetta's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hamza Nabi has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Nabi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vendetta's guard.

Vendetta is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nabi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vendetta is stalling here.

Vendetta lands a takedown into guard.

Vendetta gets to his feet. Nabi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Vendetta shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nabi napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Vendetta is working to tighten is grip on Nabi's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nabi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vendetta is really squeezing tight and eventually Nabi passes out! Vendetta breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
