Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo DeMilio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
DeMilio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Barnes defends it nicely.
DeMilio rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barnes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Barnes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Barnes jabs DeMilio to the body, keeping him at a distance.
DeMilio pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Barnes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before DeMilio can pounce on him.
DeMilio uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barnes.
Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DeMilio manages to avoid it.
DeMilio turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Barnes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck DeMilio on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barnes throws a lazy right hand but DeMilio sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
DeMilio tries to work over Barnes's front leg with a kick but Barnes checks it.
Barnes blocks a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeMilio catches Barnes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Barnes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
DeMilio throws a jab when Barnes was well out of range.
Barnes swats away the attempt to clinch by DeMilio.
Barnes misses with a hook
and DeMilio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
DeMilio thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barnes walks into a stiff left hand from DeMilio.
DeMilio takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
DeMilio falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barnes counters with a straight right hand.
DeMilio displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barnes throws out the jab.
DeMilio lands with a hook. Barnes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Barnes thuds his right hand into DeMilio's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barnes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from DeMilio.
Barnes moves out of range as DeMilio strikes.
Barnes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barnes connects with a body shot.
DeMilio looks gassed!

Barnes lands a left and a right that send DeMilio crashing to the mat, dazed. Barnes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Vincenzo DeMilio has been cut.
Clifton Barnes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barnes is stalking DeMilio. DeMilio circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Barnes, and it's lights out! DeMilio really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
