The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urkel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sango moves into the clinch.
Sango misses with some punches.
Sango pulls guard.
Sango is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Urkel is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Urkel wants to stand but Sango is controlling his posture from full guard.
Urkel wants to stand and escape but instead Sango has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tdiaj Sango seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Urkel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sango fails in his attempt to clinch.
Urkel lands a head kick!
It looks like Tdiaj Sango has been cut.
Sango fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Urkel misses with a head kick.
Sango is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sango closes this distance looking for a takedown but Urkel circles away.

and Urkel counters with a good, hard body kick but Sango shrugs it off.

Sango cracks Urkel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Urkel throws a head kick but Sango moves out of range.

Sango is breathing heavily.

Sango shoots in looking for a takedown but Urkel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sango's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Urkel counters with a nice body kick.
Urkel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sango closes the distance looking to clinch
and Urkel counters with an inside leg kick.
Urkel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Urkel connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Urkel lands a head kick. Sango smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Sango is rocked!
A head kick misses from Urkel.
Oh Sango is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Urkel throws a head kick that misses.

Sango seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters circle, before Urkel throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sango's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Urkel lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
