The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa shoots in looking for a takedown but Bharrmanou manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barbosa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Both fighters circling a little - Bharrmanou finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bharrmanou.
Bharrmanou misses with a double jab

so Barbosa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bharrmanou wants to stand and escape but Barbosa is having none of it.

Bharrmanou is looking to stand up but Barbosa isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bharrmanou tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dyhaar Bharrmanou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barbosa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bharrmanou but Bharrmanou pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Barbosa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bharrmanou napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bharrmanou gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
