Aldo wants to clinch
and Bova connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

enabling Bova to counter with a crisp jab.

and Bova counters with a nice uppercut.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bova is working to tighten is grip on Aldo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Aldo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bova is really squeezing tight and eventually Aldo passes out! Bova breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
