Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim White!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salace lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Salace.

White drives through and clinches with Salace against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Salace breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Salace closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
White throws an elbow that misses.
Salace lands a nice elbow.


It looks like Jim White has been cut.
White takes an elbow to the temple.
White takes an elbow to the forehead.
White wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
White tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salace smiles and moves away.
Salace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Salace listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
White throws a head kick that Salace semi-blocks.
White misses with a combination

and Salace moves into the clinch.
Salace tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
White is looking to control Salace's arms but Salace gets an underhook and turns him. Now White has his back to the cage.
Salace creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through White's defenses.


That has opened up Jim White's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salace keeps control of White as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White takes an elbow to the temple.
White tries to pull guard but Salace holds him up against the cage and eventually White drops back down to his feet.
White drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Salace gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cisay Salace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim White.
Salace gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Salace lands an elbow inside.


The cut above Jim White's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
White looking to slow down the pace here.
White tries to pull guard but Salace won't allow it.

Salace manages to break the clinch.

Salace drives through and clinches with White against the cage.

Salace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Salace fails to land with a series of punches.

Salace moves into the clinch successfully.
Salace crunches a lovely knee into White's ribcage.
White looks gassed!
Salace lands a nice elbow.
White fails to pull guard.
Salace lands an elbow that stopped White in his tracks for a moment.


Jim White's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Salace breaks the clinch.

Salace has managed to clinch.
Salace blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Salace lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salace makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Salace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Salace connects with a nice short shot to White's temple.

Salace is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Still in half guard, Salace seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salace working over White with some ground and pound. White looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim White's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
