Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Foxall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Foxall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Foxall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch

and Foxall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.
Foxall wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Foxall from controlling successfully.

Foxall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Foxall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Foxall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Foxall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Johnson won't allow Foxall to pass to mount.
Johnson tries to kick Foxall off but Foxall keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Foxall throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Foxall is just content to waste time from the top position. Johnson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Foxall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Johnson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Foxall wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Foxall pushing down on Johnson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Foxall is looking to advance position but Johnson won't allow it.
Foxall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Foxall is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.
Foxall throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Foxall sits in half guard.

Foxall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johnson sees it coming and defends easily.
Johnson is trying to control but can't.

Foxall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Foxall advances position into side control!

Foxall has hold of Johnson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Foxall cranks the arm and Johnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
