The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Son scores with a jab to the body.
Pacquiao closes this distance looking for a takedown but Son circles away.
Pacquiao shoots in for a takedown but Son shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Son tries to bum rush Pacquiao with a series of wild strikes but Pacquiao uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pacquiao shoots in looking for a takedown but Son manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pacquiao's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Pacquiao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pacquiao takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A cross from Son lands.
Son throws a low kick but Pacquiao moves out of range easily.
Son on the wrong end of a nice jab.

and Pacquiao takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pacquiao takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Son cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Son moves out of range as Pacquiao strikes.
Nice uppercut there from Son.
Pacquiao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Son.
Pacquiao walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Pacquiao takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pacquiao. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pacquiao is breathing heavily.
Son throws a leg kick but Pacquiao sees it coming and moves out of range.
Pacquiao has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Son circles away from the clinch attempt
and Son counters with a right hand to the body.

Son misses with a wild combination.
Manny Pacquiao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Son lands a body shot.
Son throws a head kick but Pacquiao moves out of range.
Son thumps Pacquiao with a low kick.
Son ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Son lands a left and a right that send Pacquiao crashing to the mat, dazed. Son thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Pacquiao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Manny Pacquiao has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Son lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Pacquiao is looking to close the distance but Son sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Pacquiao crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Pacquiao is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
