Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dowda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Petri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dowda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, KnockDown. The crowd seem to be enjoying Petri's choice of entrance music: Seek and Destroy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petri moves to clinch but Dowda breaks away

and Dowda counters with a shoot takedown. Petri fights it but they end up in guard.
Dowda trying to control but Petri is working from the bottom.
Dowda trying to move into half guard but instead Petri has managed to sweep!

Petri stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Petri leaves Dowda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dowda shoots in for a takedown but Petri shows good takedown defense.
Petri tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Dowda counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dowda.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Dowda is trying to break the clinch but Petri has him pressed against the ropes.

Petri manages to break the clinch.

Petri closes the distance and pushes Dowda back into the ropes.

Petri pulls guard effortlessly.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Petri lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dowda!

Petri looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Dowda has left one of his arms exposed and Petri doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Dowda screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
