The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a nice head kick!
Davis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Davis tries for a takedown but Aria Sr circles away easily
and Aria Sr counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Davis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Aria Sr.
Davis wants to clinch but Aria Sr slips to the side
and Aria Sr counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Davis thinking.
Davis fails with the takedown
letting Aria Sr counter with a right hand.
Michael Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Davis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Davis swings widly with a right hand
and Aria Sr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davis won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aria Sr cracks Davis with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Aria Sr in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Davis looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Aria Sr turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
