Gambini fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Down, pushing him back against the ropes.

No joy there for Down, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gambini feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Downs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Gambini throws a lazy right hand but Down sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Down avoids the body shot from Gambini.
Gambini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gambini lands with a nice body punch.
Down looks to land a right hand but Gambini moved out of range.
Down throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Down steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gambini.
Down lands a really nice looking cross but Gambini seems unphased.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gambini clobbers Down with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Down is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Down throws a good cross that connects.
Down closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Down takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
