Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pollito Oviedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philippe Chuteboxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oviedo comes to the ring accompanied by Tony Presidio. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuteboxe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oviedo.
Chuteboxe swinging wildly here.
Chuteboxe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Oviedo eats them both and turns towards Chuteboxe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Pollito Oviedo has been cut.
Chuteboxe lands a head kick. Oviedo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Chuteboxe misses with a head kick.
Oviedo blocks a head kick by Chuteboxe.
Chuteboxe misses with a two punch combination.
Oviedo shoots and misses
and Chuteboxe counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oviedo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chuteboxe to the mat! Chuteboxe manages to get full guard.

Chuteboxe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Oviedo.
Chuteboxe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oviedo is controlling him.
Oviedo tries to free his leg and advance position but Chuteboxe is retaining full guard.

Chuteboxe is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Oviedo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Oviedo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Oviedo is working hard here to advance position.
Oviedo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chuteboxe is proving hard to escape from.
Oviedo throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Oviedo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Chuteboxe looks to land a combination but Oviedo avoids it well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Oviedo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oviedo is breathing heavily.
Oviedo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chuteboxe is fending him off so far but Oviedo persists. Nope, Chuteboxe circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pollito Oviedo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chuteboxe throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Oviedo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chuteboxe's waist but Chuteboxe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oviedo off to one side.
Chuteboxe lands with a kick to the temple. Oviedo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Oviedo is rocked!
Chuteboxe steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Oviedo is out on his feet! Chuteboxe sets himself and nearly takes Oviedo's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
