Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zach Hardgrave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Roma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Roma's choice of entrance music: Lil Wayne - Show Me My Opponent . Hardgrave is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roma has Hardgrave up against the cage in a clinch.
Hardgrave looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Roma slowing the pace effectively.
Roma makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Roma has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hardgrave is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Roma turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Hardgrave defending against the ground and pound.
Roma lands a nice forearm strike.
Roma wants to control but Hardgrave is keeping him busy.
Roma fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Roma looks up at the clock and then as Hardgrave takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Roma smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hardgrave avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Roma.
Roma wants to control but Hardgrave is keeping him busy.

The strikes coming from Roma are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Roma just content to control the position.
Roma landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Roma misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Roma can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hardgrave is looking to escape.

Roma breaks from Hardgrave's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hardgrave is in a horrible position here. Roma smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Zach Hardgrave has been cut.
Roma fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roma postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hardgrave badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Roma around the waist but Roma pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Roma is the winner by TKO! Roma jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Roma!
