Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aslan Bagrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bagrian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Justin Bieber - Baby. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bagrian manages to avoid it.
Silva misses with a shot to the body
and Bagrian counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva shoots in but Bagrian avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Bagrian counters by clinching up.

David Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bagrian to the ground. Silva is now in Bagrian's guard.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bagrian swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bagrian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bagrian has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Bagrian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is pushing down on Bagrian's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bagrian is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bagrian had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
