Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in and gets a takedown into Downing's guard.
Green with a flurry of punches that miss.
Green trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Downing avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Green is stalling in the full guard.
Downing looking to hit a scissor sweep but Green is one step ahead there.
Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Green throwing strikes but missing.
Green thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Downing wants to sweep but no luck.
Green wants to control from the top but Downing keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Green slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Green is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Downing is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green has hold of Downing's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Downing seems comfortable defending it but Green has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Downing is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Downing is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Green couldn't care less - he's delighted!
