The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss tries to clinch but Torrentini moves away

so Torrentini counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Preuss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torrentini. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Torrentini throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Preuss because Torrentini loaded up on that one.
Torrentini tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Preuss is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Torrentini cracks Preuss with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torrentini loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Preuss scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Torrentini land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Torrentini stands and salutes the crowd.
