Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hesekiel Paarma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximo Meridio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paarma comes to the cage accompanied by Sibelius's Karelia. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paarma wants to clinch up but Meridio keeps it at a distance.

Meridio is looking to advance position but Paarma won't allow it.
Paarma is trying to escape back to his feet but Meridio uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Meridio is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Paarma knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Meridio thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Paarma tries to escape but Meridio is in control.
Paarma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meridio on the ground.

Meridio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Paarma is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Meridio advances to mount.

Meridio is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Paarma has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Meridio has hold of Paarma's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Paarma manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Paarma wants to try and get back to his feet.
Meridio moves to back control.

Meridio is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Paarma is defending well though. Meridio let's go of the attempt for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
