Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kinte's choice of entrance music: Baka Survivor!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinte moves forwards but Carson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Kinte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Carson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kinte drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Carson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kinte looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Kinte shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carson's guard.

Kinte got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kinte has managed to get both his arms back between Carson's legs - danger averted.

Carson has his foot on Kinte's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kinte works his way back into a safe position though.

Kinte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Carson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
