The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denton dodges the punch combination from Oliveira.
Some wild striking there from Oliveira.
Denton lands a jab to the nose.
Denton lands a nice looking body shot.
Denton misses the shot to the body.
Denton darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Denton swings for the body but Oliveira moves out of range.
Oliveira throws a left and a right that both miss
and Denton counters with a left to the body.
Denton clobbers Oliveira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Denton throws a big shot that misses.
Denton lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Denton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oliveira was well out of range. Poor timing from Denton.
Denton swings for the body but Oliveira moves out of range.
Denton checks a leg kick.
Denton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oliveira is breathing heavily.
Oliveira walks into a stiff left hand from Denton.
A shot to the liver by Denton. Beautiful body shot.
Denton jabs Oliveira to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Denton stuns Oliveira with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Denton scores with a jab. Oliveira acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Denton scores with a shot to the body.
Oliveira takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Denton lands a big uppercut and Oliveira crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Oliveira looks OK. Denton waves Oliveira back to his feet!

Oliveira is rocked!

It looks like Claudinei Oliveira has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oliveira drops his hands momentarily. Denton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Oliveira staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Oliveira doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
