Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manjinder Dhaliwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manjinder Dhaliwal told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dhaliwal rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Khan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Manjinder Dhaliwal has been cut.
Khan moves into range and clinches up with Dhaliwal.
Khan breaks the clinch.
Dhaliwal moves out of range of the body kick.
Dhaliwal misses with a left hand
and Khan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dhaliwal throws a lazy uppercut
and Khan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dhaliwal throws a right hand that misses
and Khan counters with a left and a right that stings Dhaliwal.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dhaliwal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dhaliwal takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dhaliwal is rocked!
Dhaliwal throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Khan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dhaliwal is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Dhaliwal looks gassed!
Khan goes for a small jab and connects. Now Khan goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Dhaliwal stumbles back but Khan runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Dhaliwal to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Dhaliwal will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Amir Khan!
